I am so extremely dissapointed, I knew many sports were fixed, but I felt the NBA was one of the cleanest, purest, most honest sports out there, but in a way, I'm not surprised, its all about money.
I have been an NBA fan for a long time, but i doubt that will continue, I just hope Stern is found guilty and pays for his dishonesty as well as the other referees. Justice is all I ask for, thanks Mr. Stern for ruinning the sport.

Stern didn't learn from the Fisher foul-or-no-foul fiasco? Now after each game some person is going to judge flops, but which flops? Flops which resulted in fouls being called? And then those who faked it, get fined? And therefore the foul shouldn't have been called? Or the opposite. Flops where fouls weren't called, and then if subsequently the flop was fake, a fine? Or it was a legitimate flop and a foul should have been called? Or any combination thereof. What is he doing to the game? Maybe flops should be called like fouls. Two flops per game, the third you're out of the game. That I think might control it better--if it needs to be controlled at all. But this seems absolutely ridiculous to me.

David Stern and Clay Bennet are a bunch of liars lying through their teeth. Those incompatant clowns think they can get away with stealing the Seattle Sonics after they've been in Seattle for 41 YEARS? Well let's just hope that Clay Bennet get's robbed by Howard Shultz in court, and that the team stays in Seattle. Also, let's hope that the NBA gets a good commisioner in a few years.

Unbelievable, Seattle is losing a great franchise and he seems like he is going to do nothing about it. It's also seems he's on the payroll for the Oaklahoma people. Oaklahoma will not be able to support a basketball team. They will be fine the 1st year but after that they will lose money. Not cool

I would love to talk to Stern. He used "consistency" as his explanation for the Amare / Diaw suspension. Okay, Commish, if you want to be consistent, then why change the officiating once the post-season starts? If the Suns - Spurs series were officiated under the regular season rules, Bowen would have fouled out in the first half! Also, in the last Cavs - Pistons game, LeBron was fouled three times on the last play. Now, if it were the first quarter, that would have been called. I don't know why or when the NBA started to tell officials to alter their calls in the post-season and at the end of the game, but it really sucks for fans of true basketball. What's even more hypocritical is how you started the season w/ T's for excessive complaining then you toss the official best known for keeping the inmates under control. So much for "consistency"!

David Stern made the biggest mistake of his tenure as commish. The ruling although was correct he should have known that rules with no leway would affect the league. Because of his ruling in the Suns vs. Spurs series not only did he rob the fans of a great series. He cost the Suns a true oppurtunity at winning a championship. If he did his job correctly he should have noticed the "dirty" play of Bruce Bowen. Definately Bruce Bowens track record doesn't support him because of all the legitamate complaints reported. All I'm saying is David Stern NEEDS to have the rules overlooked. The reason being is having set rules for off court incidents is great but on court incidents need to be looked at then determined with out have a rule set in stone.
